remove a watermark
Is it possible to remove a watermark from an image in PSPro X, if so how?

Very carefully.
I can only answer for visible watermarks, embedded watermarks are something else.
SInce watermarks, unless it's a code watermark, tend to be placed directly into the image replacing the pixels that used to be there, there isn't a single process to get rid of watermarks.
It all depends on the image, watermark, and how the watermark was added (some are a simple white fade, others are more prominent. You can either attempt to do the exact opposite of the watermark (requires you still have the one you originally used, and yes I'm assuming you're not trying to remove someone else's watermark because that would be bad) and hope there isn't too much damage to the underlying image.
Or you can attempt o clone and draw the watermark away. Again, very carefully.

Just go back to the original image before you put a watermark on it.
