Here is a without-touch-compiled-version of libQtWebKit:

http://schrell.de/WebKit/libQtWebKit.so.4.7.4 ((just uploading....))

You can download this and make a symbolic link to it from /opt/AfterShotPro/lib/libQtWebKit.so.4

I just wrote (in French) a little tutorial on my blog : http://www.benoitvarret.fr/news/asp-reparer-asgps

Click here for an english translation

In short :
  • Do what Andreas told us to do (look at the quotation)
  • Download this tarball and extract it under /opt/AfterShotPro/lib
  • And usally that's it. You can play again with asGPS.

Hi,

just uploaded a new Beta which uses OpenLayers on the Corel Plugin Page:

http://aftershotpro.com/plugins/downloa ... LM.afzplug

Now you can move the map again. Please report Problems. I think is struggling a bit but most options should work. I will include saving your selected maps/layers in the preferences in a future update.

Update also with asPluginManager.

Hi Andreas

Thanks for the update. The tagging of pictures is not working. There is no geo data added in the exif/itpc. And the cursor is very hard to see - maybe is is better if it was red or yellow.

Tagging works here (OSX 10.8) but without reading this post, I would have never found the cursor!

Seems to me the old linux hack doesn't work anymore. Time to update asGPS.

Thanks Andreas for this last version.

you don't need the linux hack with the current version. Or what hack do you mean?

As I preferred the old google style pin to the new cross, I was still using the old version thanks to the hack.
It doesn't work at all anymore. So I upgraded to the last asGPS version. Off course the hack isn't useful anymore, but as I'm lazy I didn't remove it.

I've some «issues» with asGPS :
  • Sometimes, when moving the map, the red cross is also moving, but not at the same speed (I've to investigate a bit more because this doesn't appear each time)
  • Sometimes, when using the mouse wheel for zooming, the map is also moving
  • We can't click on panoramio pictures
