Re: asGPS: a geocoding plugin for ASP
I just wrote (in French) a little tutorial on my blog : http://www.benoitvarret.fr/news/asp-reparer-asgpsandreas wrote:just a dirty hack for the Linux folks:
Here is a without-touch-compiled-version of libQtWebKit:
http://schrell.de/WebKit/libQtWebKit.so.4.7.4 ((just uploading....))
You can download this and make a symbolic link to it from /opt/AfterShotPro/lib/libQtWebKit.so.4
Andreas
Click here for an english translation
In short :
- Do what Andreas told us to do (look at the quotation)
- Download this tarball and extract it under /opt/AfterShotPro/lib
- And usally that's it. You can play again with asGPS.

Re: asGPS: a geocoding plugin for ASP
Hi,
just uploaded a new Beta which uses OpenLayers on the Corel Plugin Page:
http://aftershotpro.com/plugins/downloa ... LM.afzplug
Now you can move the map again. Please report Problems. I think is struggling a bit but most options should work. I will include saving your selected maps/layers in the preferences in a future update.
Update also with asPluginManager.

Re: asGPS: a geocoding plugin for ASP
Hi Andreas
Thanks for the update. The tagging of pictures is not working. There is no geo data added in the exif/itpc. And the cursor is very hard to see - maybe is is better if it was red or yellow.
Regards

Re: asGPS: a geocoding plugin for ASP
Seems to me the old linux hack doesn't work anymore. Time to update asGPS.
Thanks Andreas for this last version.

Re: asGPS: a geocoding plugin for ASP
you don't need the linux hack with the current version. Or what hack do you mean?

Re: asGPS: a geocoding plugin for ASP
As I preferred the old google style pin to the new cross, I was still using the old version thanks to the hack.
It doesn't work at all anymore. So I upgraded to the last asGPS version. Off course the hack isn't useful anymore, but as I'm lazy I didn't remove it.

Re: asGPS: a geocoding plugin for ASP
I've some «issues» with asGPS :
- Sometimes, when moving the map, the red cross is also moving, but not at the same speed (I've to investigate a bit more because this doesn't appear each time)
- Sometimes, when using the mouse wheel for zooming, the map is also moving
- We can't click on panoramio pictures
