@quadrox: yes thats it.

Also there are auto modes (experts only ;-) ) for FNL and LIM and even TAG which can be enabled/disabled by CTRL-Click on the buttons. That is like pressing the button on every hotness change. Use it with care on "TAG", works with a timer (500ms) after hotness change. The other ones can be used without problems if you want to add IPTC for images which have GPS settings or to add GPS settings for images which have IPTC settings which can be located with Google maps.

Tagging many images with the same values: Use Copy sets. Two are provided with asGPS in the resources folder.

Hi,

you need to have an internet connection and call Google maps by pressing the LIM or FNL button. For LIM you should have typed some location info to find in the bottom edit field or have usable IPTC info in the exif data. For FNL you need to have GPS data in the image or in the coordinates tab. After the Google call you see the raw Google info in the Google tab - mainly for cut'n'paste or debugging.

Google AND OSM ?

Post by nyukuri »

Hi,
I am in a place where Google is still way behind OpenStreetMaps (OSM). Is it possible to include them in a future version, so to see the OSM map instead of Google???
Thank you,

thank you!
the UI for asGPS is hardly changed :) just the tab names have now leading and proceeding spaces, to make them look a bit better, and I slightly enlarged the window, since I have asGPS on its own tab.
And one could maybe exchange the "open file" buttons with an actual folder icon from C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel AfterShot Pro\supportfiles\images , like the "Color Management" tool does.
But in general I think asGPS looks fine and the colored multi-function checkboxes are nice and understandable

Hi,

Move map moves the map center position to the given GPS coordinates.

French translation would be cool. I have not received any response regarding the promised translations from Corel

First I want to say thanks for the plugin - great work.

From time to time I use ASP on my Thinkpad (without Touchpad, only Trackpoint) and miss on the map-window the two zoom-buttons. Of course I can emulate mousescrolling with the trackpoint, but buttons are more comfortable. So maybe it's possible to include zoombuttons in the map.

Greetings

Yes zoom is possible. I will include it.

Just updated the package because of an endless "new version available dialog"

Hi,

just update again by reloading from the Corel site and reinstall the asGPS plugin.

I added the scale and zoom tools in the map.
