Am I better off using the Olympus software to develop my images, then using PSP X4 to edit them?
Regardless of which software I use to develop, why make any editing changes before I develop if I can then edit after I convert to a Tiff or JPEG?
Thanks,
Randy

Re: Developing Raw Images
First PSPx?? has never had a great reputation in the RAW department. I would recommend trying something else to get the best results. Aftershot Pro is a Corel product and should fit in well with PSPx4 now and in the future.
As to editing I would always suggest editing as much as possible first in you RAW program. You simply have more information in the data to work with. Once you convert to JPEG half of that information is gone forever. It's simply not there for you to work with.

Bruce,
Thanks. I just can't afford ASP. Maybe I'll download RAW Therapee, or I could use the Olympus Viewer 2 developer, but it doesn't seem that much better than PSP's

Compare to LR, Aftershot is not that high. If you want to test out the program you can download the trial for 30 days. Just go to http://pnoy.me/coreltrials
