Re: How do I export RAW files to an External Drive?
All files that are self contained (including RAW files ) can be Copied and pasted to folders on an external drive. I prefer to just have the source folder and target folders open on my desktop and just drag and drop to the external drive folder.
Use control and left click to select individual files or deselect, shift and left click to select a group of files , Control A to select all the files .
Control left click and drag copies files to the other folder (control not necessary if they are on different drives) , Right click drag and drop gives you choice of copy or move to the external target folder.
Is that what you meant?
** by self contained I mean not attached to or linked to other folders or files - eg a saved web page may have a HTMl component and a folder containing images, a short cut key links to another folder , or file or program. If either of these are separated / moved to external drives they will generally not function properly .

Hartpual,
Thanks. I'm not sure I understand what you describe but I'll try it.
