Recording VS8 project to VHS tape in VCR

I have just completed a family history video using VS8 and am very pleased with the results. I had no problem burning to DVD. Some people who would like copies of the project only have VHS format VCR's and are asking me to copy the video to tape.

Can this be done?

I have both analogue and DVR camcorders and am using VS8.

Any suggestions?

The way i have done it in the past is to copy from my dvd player straight to my video recorder as the dvd has no copy protection.
