X5 mp4 won't play in flowplayer or zune

I've been playing with this for hours now. Doesn't matter how I render my .mp4 I can't get it to play on my website in flowplayer. I get audio but no video. Also when I try to open in Zune it gives me an error code and tells me the file is corrupt. I can open it in WMP. It uploaded to youtube and played fine. But I don't want to embed from YouTube I want to upload to my site. I've tried other players and same thing...no luck. So what I finally did is opened up my Camtasia and rerendered from there. Now it works fine every where I play it. Sooo, my question is why won't the rendered mp4 play in all mp4 players?

I'm trying to upgrade from Camtasia. I used the Pinnacle Studio 30 day trial and now using VideoStudio 30 day trial. I like VideoStudio better but I can't rerender every video through Camtasia so they play on my website.

Anybody else have this problem? Any solutions?

I'd ask the makers of flowplayer or zune why they don't play mp4 file that Media player plays fine, and that youtube plays fine... Al

What kind of MP4 and what kind of audio does Zune and Flowplayer expect?

I am having this same issue. I was using Corel X3 through October of this year with no issues. I converted my .MOV files to the IPOD MPEG-4 pre-defined formatting from the MPEG drop down list. All videos converted in X3 play fine in all browsers.

In November I got a new computer and decided to upgrade my Corel to X5. Now, I can't find an MP4 format that will play in our web site.

Here are examples:

A video converted using X3:

A video converted using X5:

Both files began as .MOV video from my JVC camcorder.

Both files play fine in WMP

Both files have been uploaded to Facebook and play fine

But, when trying to open these in Chrome, or in an HTML <object> player, the X5 version fails.

Please help!

The X5 sample also plays perfectly well in internet Explorer - it would seem that you should be asking Google why industry standard videos do not play in their browser. If you videos play well every where else then it is a problem with Chrome - I often have to revert to IE to do something as Chrome refuses to show something that every thing else does not have a problem with.

Does it actually play in IE, or does it stream through a WMP?

My only question is why an X3 created file plays fine on all of my platforms, but the X5 does not. What did they change?

Here is another example:

In our industry standard HTML5 <video> player, the X3 video plays, but the X5 does not...
