How to find or export snapshot photo from library

Post by joeboxes »

i have VS Pro X3. I have a clip I would like to get a photo from. I follow the direction up to taking a snapshot and having it appear in my photo library. How can i now send it to my photoshop program or any place on my hard drive to email or manipulate?

the image which appears in the VideoStudio library is just a thumbnail - it is not the actual photo. The photo itself is in the working folder which you specified in 'Preferences' (press F6) - it will be a .jpg or a .bmp again depending on what you specified in preferences.

If you cannot locate your working folder then right click over the thumbnail and choose 'properties' - this will contain the path to the stored image - you can then treat it just like any other image on your computer.

There's also the "Locate on Computer" option on right click when done on the thumbnail. Takes one straight there, as it does to any clip, still, or audio file.
