I am relatively new to VS. I am trying to burn multiple copies of a video I have produced. In the final screen to create a disk there is an option to choose multiple copies. I always select multiple copies and it burns the first one perfectly, the burner drawer opens and it asks me to provide another disk. When I do so I get the error:
"Does not support burning of DVD-Video on Empty disc. Supports burning on DVD-R/DVD-R DL/DVD-RW/DVD+R DL/DVD+RW disc. Please insert another disc to continue, or click Cancel to stop the process."
The disk burner is a ASUS BW-12D1S-U.
Any suggestions? This is quite frustrating as I seem to have to cancel each time and ask it to generate another disc, which I suspect is a longer process then just making multiple copies.
Thanks
Jim

There are many reasons why this happens and if you are using the same brand and type of DVD then you may want to change your work follow. Rather than creating an disc directly, you may want to create a disc image or ISO of your project then just copy the disc image to a DVD. This way you will have a copy of your project as a disc image no matter what happens.

Re: Can't burn multiple DVDs or DBs Using VS Pro X4
Thanks Abiel.
I had used different brands for my BD and DVD disks with the same problem.
Thanks so much for the ISO file suggestion. I had no idea this option existed. I tried this with my DVD version. I have Power2GO and it worked wonderfully.
I then tried to burn a Blu-ray ISO file and realized it is not possible, but the Blu-ray folder is the alternative. I am trying this now but am not sure if Power2GO can handle Blu-ray folders.
Thanks again.

If not, then the freeware ImgBurn will do the job.
