Time Lapse using GoPro Hero2

Post by Hartdr4 »

I've read thru most of the historial threads regarding making time lapse videos using VS X4. I am very happy with the normal videos what I have been able to produce using VS X4, however I am missing something when it comes to time lapse using stills taken with a GoPro Hero2 taken every 2 seconds in time lapse mode. The still images look sharp and clear in my photo editing software, but lose focus and sharpness when imported into VS X4 using Insert photo into Timeline for Time lapse/strobe. I would appreciate any recommendations on a process to improve the quality of my time lapse video I am making for our Boy Scout Troop packing up their campsite on a beautiful spring morning. Thx

Hi

Your post seems to have been overlooked, apologies for that........
I guess by now you may have fixed your image quality issue.
I do not use timelapse but assume if you have images taken every 2 seconds then the timelapse exists and all you have to do is import the images.
The Import Images for Timelapse would import all, which i suppose is what you wish to do, setting the duration as 1 frame.

The quality of your video is reliant on the original quality of the images.
Can you tell us the resolution/pixel dimensions of the images, I assume they are Jpegs?

I have to say that the preview screen may not represent the true quality, the final rendered video may be ok?
