Don't know if I should upgrade to the new x4 version

Post by rfe777 »

I'm considering to upgrade to version X4, but when I bought X3 last summer, it was as a part of a special offer that included the following programs:
Corel Painter Essentials 4
ESD - 3RD PARTY FILTERS EN
ESD - KPT FILTERS
ESD - PSP PRO X3 MANUALS EN
ESD - PAINTER ESSENTIALS 4 EN PCM
WinZip 14 Pro Single-User License ESD EN
PaintShop Photo Pro X3 Project Creator
ESD - PSP PRO X3 ULTIMATE EN

Now PSP PRO X4 ULTIMATE includes the following programs(also as a part of a special offer):
PaintShop Pro X4 Ultimate
PaintShop Pro X4 - Manuals
Stock photos from Fotolia
Blurb photo book promotion
Ultimate Bonus Pack
WinZip® 15 Pro
and The Print Shop 3.0

The way I see this, if I upgrade now some of my previous programs won't be included, and therefore won't be updated anymore.

Am I right? What do you suggest me to do?

TIA

Hello Tia,

You basically get the same package... only without the project creator, since this was removed when Corel released PSP X4, while the ESD - 3RD PARTY FILTERS EN and ESD - KPT FILTERS are also available within the bonus pack and a registration incentive.

Everything else have been upgraded like the WinZip 14 Pro to WinZip® 15 Pro and The Print Shop 3.0. If you still more information about this special offer, you can talk the Corel Sales Team at 1-877-582-6735 and their office hours are from Monday – Friday starting 9 am – 7 pm est.

Is there an email I can contact them, since I live in Israel?

And TIA is not my name lol, it's an acronym for Thanks In Advance

Hi Rfe,
Nothing to stop you from maintaining both PSP X3 and the new PSP X 4 on the same computer.
Then if you want to do something in Project creator you open PSP X 3.
If you want to take advantage of some of the special features only available in X4 then you use that. Maintain full flexibility and all options.
Systems available Win7, Win 8.1,Win 10 Version 1607 Build 14393.2007 & version 20H2 Build 19042.867
