Batch Process to Copy Folder to Flash Drive?

Post by Randyflycaster »

I created a folder on my flash drive. I'm trying to use Batch Process to copy the files to the drive. I'm not adding a script. The name of the new folder comes up in the dialogue box, but when I click on the start button I get a notice that the file already exits and do I want to overwrite it. I click on yes. All the photos are then copied, but when I go to the new folder in my flash drive it's empty.

I'm following the instructions in Diane Koers book on PSP X4.

Also, I can't seem to use Batch Process to save my JPEGs and TIFFs. Is it possible to do this.

Thanks,

Randy.

Did you received a message that the batch process is finished?

You may want to tell us the instructions indicated in the books, since most of the users may not have the book yet.

Here's what the book says:

"PaintShop Pro doesn't have a specific function for backing up your images, but you can use the Batch Process window. Before you use it, create a folder on your back up drive. then, in the Batch Process window choose Copy for Save Mode. Point the folder location to the newly created folder on the flash drive."

After I load the images and then I hit the start button I get the message for each image: The out file E:\ Pictures\ ... already exists. Do you want to overwrite?

I select yes and the image are copied, but I never get a finish message. The green lines just fill the long boxes.

I'm not sure what she means by: "Point the folder location to the newly created folder on the flash drive." I entered the E folder in the diologue box next to the browse button.

I guess I can save my folders using windows.

Thanks so much.

Randy
