One of my cameras always records a jpeg with the RAW file so when I download from the memory card into ASP my first action would be to delete the JPEGs. So far I've not found a way of listing images within ASP by filetype so I delete the JPEGs before downloading to ASP. It would be more convenient to delete them within ASP - does anyone know of a way to list by type?
many thanks

If you're importing to a catalogue you can check on "Link to Catalogues" in the metadata browser and go to Photo Info > File Type > JPEG.
Re: Can images be listed by 'filetype' within ASP???
Working with RAW+JPG image pairs is an ancient Bibble5 issue that is still not resolved and thus also keeps AfterShot Pro users shaking their heads.
It begins with importing of these images. Renaming just fails as a pair of e.g. DSC001.NEF + DSC001.JPG is not handled like one image in two versions. Thus, if you e.g. rename 'DSC' to 'MyEvent' you won't receive a pair MyEvent001.NEF + MyEvent001.JPG but MyEvent001.NEF + MyEvent002.JPG, meaning the corresponding files are handled as two separate images.
I wonder whether this will be addressed now that we have the full Corel power under the hood.
If I work with RAW and JPG files I have to employ an additional software that handles the renaming correctly.

Many thanks for replies - this issue has irritated me for too long. At least the Catalog/metadata method gives a way of deleting them in bulk.
Much appreciated.
