Win-7 Aero question

Hi; I'm new here...hope I got this in the right place.
Just started trying the Win-DVD trial program. Running w-7X64 with 8GB ram. When the DVD player starts playing a Blu-ray I get this warning balloon: "The color scheme has been changed to W-7 Basic".
Seems to run OK, just wondering if it degrades the video quality, or if it needs some remedy, or if it is just to be disregarded?
