Is anyone able to download ASP on an Linux computer? If I click on the download button a new window appears which consists only of a "top bar with close button". I tested it with
Strange, I downloaded ASP in January without problem but now all I get is a shaded window with an X icon to kill it. Tried with FF 11.0 and Chrome.
If you want the 64 bit .deb version, I could email it to you?

Thanks, not necessary as long as the version is 1.0.0.39.
I actually just want to see if a new version is available. And such a basic thing - like download the software - should work anyway. Therefore I posted it here.

I can confirm this, I cannot download asp on a linux box either. I hope they fix this... I don't know why they can't just make a simple, traditional download link....

Please can you provide a simple download button which works?
I'm on Ubuntu 10.04, 11.04/FF 10 and 11 and it works for me. It also works on Google Chrome 17 and 18 and finally on Opera 11.6x.
Most likely you are either using noscript or have disabled the javascript on Preference > Content tab.

Can't speak for anyone else, but this is definitely not the case for me. I do not use noscript, and javascript is definitely enabled. It bombs out on my two debian squeeze boxes and my Gentoo box, on Iceweasel and Firefox (3.x, 10.x and 11.x), it also fails on opera and Konqueror. All I get is a dimmed-out screen with a floating "X" to close the window that isn't showing...
I still have the problem with Fedora 64 and newest Firefox with both NoScript enabled and disabled. Also the problem isn't solved by using newest Opera version, so NoScript doesn't seem to cause the problem...
