VSX5 Ultimate unspecified error-Clean up utility

I am trying to install Windows Cleanup Utility from the following link to cure an unspecified error due to a temp file in the hope of stopping this happening again.I have done a disc clean up and deleted temp files manually.

I don't know where you found that file but it is not dedicated for X5. Take care in using these files.

If the normal Add & Remove options do not uninstall the program then use the Clean-Up provided by Corel from the Knowledge Base.

It came up with" problem loading page£ after something like" it had to be reset" Any way,I ctrl clicked the link in the above post and made a little more progress,I was able to save the file.But on opening it a box titled ZapMSI only gave me the option of cleaning up Paint Shop ProX

Hi Kenneth

go to your computers Control Panel
Select Add and Remove Programs
Use this panel to un-install your Corel programs.

Other options............
If you try to install the program without un-installing it, you should be prompted to un-install first.

Only use the Clean-Up files provided by Corel when you are unable to un-install using the above options.

To download the clean-up file, do so via the Knowledge base, that way toy will get the correct file for your product.

I'm not sure if MSICleanup.exe will work with VS X5. I suggest that you first uninstall via the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS of Windows XP, since that is the best and easiest way to remove an installed program.

Thank you Trevor and Abiel for the replies, inview of what you have said and the fact that I am not actually having the porblem now after deleting all temp files, I think I will leave things as they are or I will get into more trouble.............Ken
