I've searched these forums and the web to see if I could find this issue and came up empty
I recently installed Corel Paint Shop Pro X4 (keeping PSP8 in a different drive but still installed) on my ASUS G72GX 64 bit machine running Win7 Home Premium. Since installing, I've noticed A LOT of Screen Flicker to the point the screen has almost gone black. I didn't narrow it down to X4 until yesterday when I realized I never had the flickering issue until I started using X4. I'm also simultaneously running PMB by Sony which does a better job of importing images than Microsoft's program - but it's also a photo editor. Has anybody else had screen flicker issues like this? Before I send the machine in for repair (something I can't imagine happening), I'm going to try changing refresh and other display settings, but since I couldn't find the flicker issue anywhere, it sounds more like a software conflict. Does anybody know if Sony's PMB has an issue with Corel or vice versa? I am going to turn off PMB and see if the screen flicker issue continues while using X4, but I'd like to hear any input anybody has. Thanks
