Is it possible to load pictures recursively?
A friend asked, if aftershot can load a folder with all subfolders and then resize and crop all images to 1920x1080?

Re: Recursive loading of images
That is what presets (crop) and batch queues (output at a specific size) are for....
But would you really crop images unseen?
cheers

Re: Recursive loading of images
Don't you mean just resize to 1920x1080 without the cropping?buntu wrote:A friend asked, if aftershot can load a folder with all subfolders and then resize and crop all images to 1920x1080?

Re: Recursive loading of images
I am asking for a friend. I wouldn't recommend to crop photos automatically and I wouldn't use the same options for different cameras. But this is his decision.

Re: Recursive loading of images
for such a mundane and mechanical task i would fire up an imagemagick script and not a hightech workflow tool like ASP. if i wouldnt do all my image corrections in ASP anyway already..
and yes, afx, sometimes a blindfolded crop and rescale is all it takes to get a bunch of images out through the door.
cheers, grubernd

Bibble since 2004. Aftershot until 2020. From then on darktable.

Re: Recursive loading of images
Personally I do this exactly with a bash-script and Imagemagick. Since my script does a lot more personal things, I cannot give this script to my friend. He is able to write this script himself, but I think he doesn't want to spend time for it. So I assume he prefers to pay for it.
