HI!
I am using my older version of VideoStudio because I don't like the 14 - they switched too many things around.
But I am trying to pull up a project that I was working on, and nothing happens. I go File/project and click on the .VSP and nothing happens. I also tried going to the .VSP on my hard drive and selecting "open with / Video Studio" and nothing happens.
This older version and the X14 are not in the same file folder.
Yesterday I re-loaded 11.5 and it worked for a while. I exited over night.
Today it stopped fetching project files........and NOW, it won't re-install.***
***I was told a while back, by someone at Corel, and the disk is configured that it will only re-install twice...is that the problem now?
Thanks for any advice - i have a deadline for this video and am afraid I won't be able to meet it.

When you say you dont like 14 I assume you mean Corel Video Studio X4
In the post title you also mention 11.5/12
Which versions are you using?
If you have used Video Studio X4 to create a VSP then it will not open in VS11.
There are ways to save the project to open in earlier versions but this option only reverts back 2 versions. X 4 to X2(VS12)
You cannot go X4 back to VS11.
If you have video studio X4 installed then you will be best to complete the work using that.
I have never heard of the disc only being able to install twice, very strange.

You should however only install on two computers at any one time.
