Howdy. You can see what I mean by spasming: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFMVEJAXBX8 (jump to about 30 seconds in).
The above video is the 1st time that happened. It just happened to me again for the 2nd time, yesterday. I checked the raw footage and it doesn't spasm, so it's not my recording software. I loaded it into Sony Vegas and it doesn't spasm. It's JUST in VideoStudio. But it also displays as spasming when rendered out.
Any idea why this is happening? Or why it has happened only twice in about 1000 opportunities. And, to show it's not a fluke... when it happened yesterday, I re-did the work immediately after and it still spasmed. However, I recorded something else today and it worked perfectly.
I use WMCapture for screen recording and also had Audacity running for capturing my microphone. However, I did the same thing a week ago, with no issues. It's 2 completely isolated incidents.
Thanks!

What format does WMCapture capture in? Or what format have you set it to capture in?

Re: Footage Spasming In X3 Editor
12000 kbps mpeg-2 at 30fps for video, 128kbps audio. no video acceleration.
But, I've used the combination of WMCapture and VideoStudio X3 about 1000 times, if not more, and have had this problem exactly twice. And the raw footage plays fine in VLC Media Player... and the footage plays fine inside Sony Vegas. It's just when I try to edit it in VSX3 (or if I try to render it out, it's also stuttery, as in the video I linked to).

What format are you rendering to? Please give us all the properties if you can...

Re: Footage Spasming In X3 Editor
I'm rendering out to 640x480 FLV... but I never got that far; when it plays in the editor, it's showing the same stuttering, spasmy problem.
That's why I didn't mention it; it's displaying in the editor itself.
