How does VSP X5 compare?

Post by ConnieR. »

Hi, I have Ulead Media Studio Pro on my old desktop, that runs Windows XP, but my laptop has Windows 7, so now I need another program. I was thinking about getting Video studio Pro X5, but how does it compare to MSP? I don't really want to lear a whole new setup/ interface, etc. I already have Adobe Premiere, but I can't figure out how to use it. I was hoping that VSP would have most of the features of MSP and be just as easy to use, so I don't have to learn a whole new program. So is it similar to use? what features from MSP are not included in VSP X5? Thanks for any input. I would download the free trial, but before I start downloading a bunch of stuff onto my computer, I'd like to get some input to see if I'd even be interested in it.

Hi Connie,
I don't know much about Media Studio, but if you want to compare VideoStudio to Premiere Elements 8, I can tell you that in my opinion VideoStudio is just as powerful, but way easier to get started with. It gives you tons of features, yet I found it a lot more user friendly than Adobe. I personally would recomend you download the free trial copy and check it out for yourself. I never looked back after I did that.
