I ran x5 as is, defaults not changed.
Tested pre-updates...Screen capture works , no failed #42.
Tested post-112 updates...Screen capture works, no failed #42
Tested post WIN 8.1 update....Screen capture CRASH, failed #42.
So for now I'm refreshing back to WIN 8, cause I have a project that needs to be completed and I need the screen capture.
Another issue, hopefully some WIN 8.1 expert can help, I noticed.
Running in WIN 8, x5 screen capture will not allow you to turn "on" VOICE, if there is no mic attached. It automatically turns off. The mic is enabled but not connected.
Screen captures works..no issue.
Running in WIN 8.1, you can turn "on" VOICE with or without a MIC enabled or disabled. There's no automatically "off" if no mic is present.
Screen capture crashes at start.
One thing I did not test was connecting an actual mic to see if that filled the "gap". Regardless, if a mic is not connected or voice is "OFF",the screen capture should work.
Will I upgrade to x7?? For now I'll just take a "refresher" to get through my project.
To Corel....I understand screen capture is a "bell". However, its a useful "bell" in times of need. Could you please fix it for us in WIN 8.1 64-bit?
Also can you add "flv"file type to imports in VSP x8? I'll upgrade then. THX!
