Boris Graffiti effect not showing in FX x4 ultimate

Hi

We have noticed that different systems show the library in a slightly different way.
Some see their clips in All and others have to look on other pages. Specials etc. I think this may be related to the operating systems, but could also be the files provided by Corel. (disc versions or Downloads etc)

make sure you view the library pages in full, view the drop-down panel for "ProDAD"

Viewing my PC Start menu also shows Boris and ProDad

Did you try re-naming the en-US folder mentioned earlier?

Your PC, are you using the PC with a single account.
Does that account have Administrator rights.

When you run Video Studio, right click the icon and select Run As Administrator.

Hi again, Believe me Boris Graffiti is not showing anywhere in the FX. I do however now have ProDad Mercalli. Both Boris and Mercalli show up in Add and Remove Programs and also in the programs list when you go into Start. I can look at Boris Graffiti from here too. I went into Boris and tried to do a repair but there was no difference. No I have not yet done the us-Folder but will try when someone more experienced sits besides me and I will then try the working as the Administrator also. I have attached a screen shot and would be obliged if you could look at it and confirm that this is the right file/folder.

I don't know why I am having so much trouble either but I guess I am trying every other thing before uninstalling all the video studio programs.

Once I have both Mercalli and Boris within the program, I will then have to see how they work!!!!! Sorry but I don't get a lot of time in front of the computer as I have a husband with Parkinson's disease and he keeps me busy. He is also anti computers which does not help. That is why I really appreciate your help - you are all marvelous! Rae

You can all relax and have a long drink. I now have Graffiti and Mercalli. Thanks for all your help. Trevor I did what you and Corel suggested and labelled the x4 to x4_old. I now have to work out how to use them both. Guess there are tutorials to be found. Huge thanks again. Regards Rae

Nice to hear you have finally been able to use the filters.

What do you mean by use them both X4 and X4_old

I can only assume you mean you have lost your library, which has reverted to the original format.

Anyhow it is all working again.

Hi sorry I meant I need to learn how to use Mercalli and Graffiti. Another question do I remove the _old from the folder?? for your info the only things I lost when it switched to default was the extra things I had actually put into the program you know the "get more" however they are all still in another folder when I can access any time I want.

Hi Rae

The "X4_old" folder contains details of your old libraries and maybe some templates.
All of which you can re-create in the new libraries, or re-import the instant templates.

The "X4_old" folder is redundant and can be deleted.
