I don't know of any major brand software company that offers "Free" upgrades. Microsoft has never offered a "Free" upgrade for any of its products so if you expect to get a free upgrade for Corel products, you are misguided. Updates and patches are free for most; however, there is a difference between an upgrade and an update.
