Hi Folks and can anyone give me tips on reducing my JPG images in PSP X4 without loosing too much quality. I know that it isnt possible to not lose some picture quality but if you have any pointers that would be fantastic.
Regards
Tim

The key is what size will your intended site accept.
Some sites I post to will only accept an image no larger than 600 wide. While others will accept 1500.
Post the largest the site will allow.

You can use the JPEG OPTIMIZER, where you can set the compression value and how much quality and file size that you want. The tool also provide some information on how fast or slow the files will download from your web site/web page.
To use the JPEG OPTIMIZER, just go to FILE > EXPORT > JPEG OPTIMIZER. One thing that you need to remember the lower the compression value the higher the quality that will retain for the image and the larger the file size.
