Lens Calibration for Canon PowerShot G12 doesn't work at all on RAW (not tested on Jpg)

Regards,

What? Results wrong or no calibration data?
You might report this at the proper place, see signature.

The Powershot G12 is recognised as the exif data but the ASP doesn't correct at all...

I used the monkey to report the bug...

As far as I can see, the G12 has not (yet) been calibrated. So, in fact, this is not a BUG as such  .

VIM: So the bug is to display PowerShot G12 in Lens Correction list... :)

It is not in the lens correction list, but the list of identified lenses (if you refer to the lenstable file that is used to display the lens name in AfterShot).

But I personally think it is a bug to support a P&S cam without appropriate lens correction data as those itty bitty cams are rather distortion prone (one of the reasons I got the XZ-1 instead of the LX-5).

Yep and the G12 is 1 year and a half old...
I'm expecting G1 X support in the next major release... as I own this one too... :D

The G12 and the G11 has the same lens.
Try to put this info in profile_canon:

Found it... And in fact there is a mistake in the original file provided by Corel...

begin camera
group: canonG10
multiplier: 4.59
menu_make: Canon
menu_model: G12
exif_make: Canon
exif_model: Canon PowerShot G12
end
