I shoot with the Canon 40D. The Raw processor in PSPX4 is showing an anomaly when converting my 40D files raw files. When I initially load raw images, and when the image is displayed, it is shown at one setting. Then in 3 seconds, its updated again showing a 1 stop darker, desaturated and less sharper image. Each time I click on another image on the bottom column, same thing. The new image is displayed, then 3 seconds later the same thing happens. There is a noticable difference when I view the same photo in Canon DPP. The PSPX4 Raw File just looks terrible. This does not happen when I edit a JPEG that has already been converted.
Anyone else encounter this problem? Is there a fix for this? How do I stop PSP4X Raw from doing the second update? This is tremendously troublesome. If it can't be fixed, I'll bite the bullet and buy CS5.
Thanks for any help.

Re: PaintShop ProX4 and Canon 40D Raw Conversion Problems
When I open a RAW file from my 40D it doesn't do that. However I don't use PSP for CR2 files to begin with and I was merely testing it because of your post. If you want the RAW file to look like it did when it came out of camera you'll need to use the Canon software. Even CS5, CS5.5 or CS6 or LR4 won't read the in camera adjustments and Picture Styles. Other programs can mimic the look or some of the settings but none actually read the files to know what the intent was at the time of shooting.
The Corel raw file converter is actually AfterShot Pro, which was acquired from Bibble recently after PSP X4 came out. Adobe's is LightRoom, which wasn't originally an Adobe product either.
