Video Studio pro x4 not uploading to YouTube

Post by holytornado84 »

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone had came along an issue with VS prox4 not bringing up the upload page for your YouTube information right before it uploads. I would edit my video and when it came time to upload, it would render and save a file but would not go any further. Usually the next step it does is takes you to a YouTube information popup screen where you type your YT username and password and so on for the description of the video and everything. Mine has just stopped going past the rendering process. I have thought maybe it was my computer and tried uploading from different software successfully, so that wasn't the case. I also tried the uninstall and install process with no luck at it fixing the problem. Thanks for all your help.

I've uploaded LOTS of videos to YouTube, and most of these were edited in VideoStudio. I have never used the YouTube upload capability in VideoStudio. I render the video to MPEG4, make sure it plays properly and looks good, then go to YouTube to sign in and upload from YouTube. Although YouTube is occasionally flaky, it will always let me upload eventually.

FWIW, YouTube works well with MPEG4 and WMV files. I can upload AVCHD files, but they take a l-o-n-g time for YouTube to process them for playback. MPEG4 uploads are viewable in a couple minutes, but AVCHD uploads have taken an hour or more before they can be viewed.

Hope that helps!
