Express Fix

Post by tonyl33 »

In the past I never like to use such features but I tried it on PI 10. I have been a pro photographer for 30 years & I have a huge collection of photos & slides. I always keep my photos in a dark place - in my closet. Most of the photos are faded or turned magenta toned. I scanned them into my PC & open in PI 10 & use 'Express Fix' on each of them individually. The results look good on the screen but when I print them at the Photolab, I couldn't believe it - they looks like taken only last week even though they are more than 20 years old. All of them look so fresh & new. I don't know how to import images into this forum or else I can show you the 'Before & After'

There is a button right below the subject line called "Img" Click it once, type the address of the picture, then click it again. This adds a picture to the screen.

Cool feature isn't it? :D I just love how easy it is using PhotoImpact. What's even cooler is that you can apply "Express Fix" on your pictures all at the same time using batch edit. Simply double click on the gray space of PI workspace when you have all the pictures loaded. The batch manager dialog box will then appear then you'll choose the commands to use and the pictures to apply it to.

Go here: http://www.ulead.com/pi/showcase.htm, you'll see a lot of cool pictures other PI users have posted. I think you can post yours as well.
