Hi,
I'm running X4. I have 3 minutes of photos with text and audio narrative at the beginning of my project. When I try to add the first video clip to let's say 3:01 of the project, the video track pins itself to 0:00...I don't see how to set it free...probably a simple way to do this but I'm not seeing it.
Thanks!

Re: Video Stuck at Beginning of Timeline
just drag any color block down from the color library and put it in the top track ahead of the video and set it's duration to 3:00 - doesn't matter what color you use it will not be seen.
incidentally - your question suggest your photos are not in the top track - if you put them in the top track they would hold the video where you want it
Videos in the top track will always butt to the left edge , you cannot have spaces in the top track - just use colour blocks to hold videos where you want them.

Thanks Brian. I did contemplate your suggestion as a possible fix. Guess I was on the "right track".
