X5 do more error

X5 Do More
When trying to download the Template 4 in “1 Fade intro” I receive an error from my browser.
All other downloads seem ok.
It may be my pc, but have tried on windows 7.
I then get a message from corel “The download cannot be completed at this time.You can resume the download at any time by clicking the link in the update message.” The window has a link to PhotoVideoLife.com

Can you guys try this to see what you get

Exactly the same as you Trevor - I did follow the link to photovideolife and found the template and who submitted it - but as always on that site I go round and round in circles when I go there - unable to find a download button - finally received a message saying "unable to send e-mail" - so as I have done many times before I cancelled every thing and gave up.

Other templates seem to download OK except for "Menu pack 2" - that does nothing at all when I click on 'download'


Edit - 20 minutes later - - - just received an e-mail from photovideolife with a download link - tried it - seems to work OK from Photovideolife.

Thanks for trying the DoMore download.
At least I know it is not my system that’s at fault.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the template included in the X5 downloads.

I managed to downloaded the DoMore_Menu_02.exe, no problems, I think it did change the Disc Menu gallery, not for the good I might add, it appeared to reduce the menus available, just by a few?

Other users have mentioned about the download links not working.

I have just re-installed X5 so should be back to default menu’s, I will check out the Disc Menu list.
I don’t feel like installing the file again, idea test on the wifes laptop, ha ha

Ok I will look into it a little further, a bit of a pain as it takes so long to re-install the program

I can't download it either way.

I'm right there in my account on the downloads page, but when I click to download it, PhotoVideoLife wants me to Login or Register, and I can't go any further than that.

I have no problems downloading direct from the web site.
To download from the Photovideolife site you have to first register.
Are you saying you cannot do that?
Once registered you opt to purchase the template even though it is free
You are then sent an e-mail with the download link.


For X4------- On this site is also a free DVD Menu file that adds quite a lit of templates to the gallery.
Search the blog for “ New Disc Menus Available Now! “

Using X5 there is a similar file available from the DoMore templates DoMore_Menu_02.exe
Installing this should update the X5 DVD Gallery, at least I think it should, but doesn’t seem to do anything?

Finally I found time to do a few tests regarding the DoMore_Menu_02.exe file

Yes it does install extra DVD Menu Gallery templates but only to HD types, Bluray and Avchd.
The standard DVD Gallery is not updated.

The similar file for X4 increased the available standard DVD templates from 39 to 72 templates.

It would be nice if someone could confirm this.

Trevor, I was finally able to download 4 in 1 from the PhotoVideoLife website. I had to clear all history in Firefox.
