PaintshopPro X3: Leave project files on C drive? Or move?

Post by SyncroScales »

Hi.

I have a PSPX3 folder in My Documents that saves the PSP files and such.

Should I move this folder to the D drive? I have multiple drives and can benefit from it. But would it matter with this program?

Anyone have a setup or recommendations? My images are on Drive E usually. Some might be on D drive.

Thanks.

The PSP X3 folder in My Documents is labelled My PSP Files and usually contains any personal tubes, scripts, gradients, frames etc that you have made or installed from elsewhere.
You normally do not save worked image files to here.
I have not bothered with placing it anywhere else but if concerned about say a failing C drive and losing My Documents , you could make regular backups of My Documents to one of your other drives.

Because I concurrently run PSP 8 , PSP X2, PSP X3 and PSP X4, I have files in My Documents labelled :
My PSP8 Files
My PSP Files (contains one set of folders used by X2 and X3)
Corep PaintShop Pro (folders for X4)
They all seem happy working there and I do not want to go through the trouble of moving them and reassigning folder paths in each of the programs.
