VS X4 "Not Responding" Hang-Ups w/ Basic Edit
Due to numerous freezup ("Not Responding" issues) while performing simple basic editing tasks like extending a Video on a timeline, Project Preview Playback etc, I performed an uninstall using the downloaded VS Cleanup tool, then after emptying temp files, I re-installed VS X4 and SP2, but even simple projects (One jpg photo on Trac 1, and one 720x480 AVI video on overlay track) cause "Not Responding" Hangups. Mouse Cursor just keep spinning until I end the program process with Windows 7 Task Manager BTY I even tried unchecking Hardware Acceleration, Virus Scan. and even reinstalled a second time. Any help is aprreciated. I have an Intel Core 2 Duo and 6 gig Ram

Hi
Wow you seem to be having some problems.
1 / Can you please fill in your PC specification via your profile, click the User Control Panel link top left, then the profile tab.
2 / If you use the sample clips from the library do you have the same problems?
3 / Can you give further information regarding your video files, right click a clip in the timeline and select properties, what are they?
4 / you should have Quick Time Player installed on your PC, please uninstall and install version 7.5.5
