I'd like to find some suitable software to play 3D Blu-ray; I had previously been using PowerDVD 7 and really do not like the current version of PowerDVD (12) so was looking to switch to Corel WinDVD as an alternative.
However, the 3D button is permanently greyed-out for me, and I'm not sure why. I have a 3D monitor (LG DM2780D) connected over HDMI to a video card with 3D Blu-ray hardware acceleration (AMD Radeon HD 6770). PowerDVD works fine when configured to use a row-interleaved micropolariser or native HDMI 1.4 3D. Is the 3D function not supported in the trial?

I don't think it's supported in the trial: although it's also greyed out in my full version and my computer is reasonably powerful. I'm trying to sort that out with Corel's support.

I also got the same problem. After some reading I see the requirement for 3D bluray is Windows 7. Is that 3D is totally not support in Vista at all and permanently greyed out? I find it strange because 3D with PDVD12 works perfectly in my system. Hope someone can clarify the situation.
