I am a long time user of DVDMF but had to use VS7 recently to do a complex edit of my daughter's Uni project. I have not edited before, and after viewing the tutorials was able to produce quite a complex task easily. Powerpoint titles, transitions to a slide show, then a DV movie that I cut into 20 segments then interlaced them, rolling credits with overlay 'out-takes' behind the credits, burnt to DVD and also to ISO. The whole process was a dream and looked very professional! I have 2 questions though:
1) How to I make a particular video clip 'persist' on the screan beyond its alloted time (overlays in particular)?
2) Why do I need to upgrade to VS8 or VS9?
Thanks

Hi,
1) can you just re-use the clip you want to "repeat" (load it in again for as many times as you want it)
2) if you like VS7, you are going to LOVE VideoStudio 9 -- test drive the Free Trial to see what I mean
Here is a comparison chart from VS9 to VS8 (and think, you have VS7)
