How do you create a DVD menu from scratch ?

Hi,
Using VS X4, I haven't been able to find how to create my own DVD menu, starting with a blank screen.
I have been able to use the gallery edit function and remove text fields, but can't remove the image
that is supplied with a given gallery menu. Is there just a way to start with a blank screen and then
just add an image and some text ?

In a word no - but you don't need to - you can change everything on the supplied menus - including the background picture - you do not remove the supplied background , you just change it for one of your own - it's all under the edit tab in the Create disc module..

Abiel - youv'e done it again !!!!! - there are NO menu templates on that website - only project templates.

OK I stand corrected - there is ONE download pack of DVD menus for use in Pro X4 - good luck if you can find it from Abiels link because I never can - Trevors seems to work OK - but everything else on that site is project templates.
