Heal layer corrections not applied

Post by sarunas »

Hi,

Heal/clone layer tool allows me to make corrections, and the preview looks as it should. While outputting the file to JPEG or TIFF layer corrections are not applied.

Am I missing a setting somewhere? Is this a known bug?

Thanks.

Hi,

I recently used Heal&Clone layer on some pictures and it worked well, as expected (but only applied clone, never healed anything !).
Also adjustment layers worked well ...

Sorry that I can not help, but at least you might know now that you´re alone out there with the problem  because it works well on other computers.
Maybe you can provide the picture-file together with the XMP somewhere for download (or mail them on request), then I (and others) can test it, if you want.

cheers

Just a thought here but if I'm zoomed in using heal/clone to conceal a small defect and only just cover that defect, when I zoom out I might get a pixel shift that will be enough to allow the defect to be partially visible. My fix is to slightly increase the heal/clone size.
