VS X5 Ultimate - Prodad mercalli

Have both VS X4 and X5 loaded but mercalli does not show up within X5 FX. Please advise

It looks like the same issue with VS X4, you may want to check these KB.

This will sound a stupid question, probably because it is!

Is it easy to see if you have these extras, such as Mercalli, Graffiti, Blue FX etc.? Do they appear separately or with some identification in the galleries? Or is it necessary to go into the program files and search?

Yes, you will be able to see them when you access the FX library of your VideoStudio.

I had the issue of NOT seeing Graffiti with X4. I would uninstall using VS_Cleanup, reinstall. Re-download again and reinstall again. Reg clean between each uninstall reinstall. I would see Graffiti unpacking and it looked like it was installing, but it never showed up. Mercalli did just fine. Tech support offered a ton of possible solutions and even sent .exe files for me to try. Finally, it came down to renaming the InstallShield folder (just in case I would need it again, I renamed it InstallShield_OLD) and reinstalled VSPX4 (creates a new InstallShield folder). Everything installed just fine for me. Your mileage may very.
Using Win7 Pro 64. InstallShield folder found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\InstallShield
