Attributes tool is missing UleadVideo Studio 11.5

MY version of Ulead VideoStudio 11.5 crashed and upon rebooting I noticed that the Attributes tool has completely disappeared. I had this problem once before and I found a post online that cured the problem, unchecking a box somewhere resolved it....but I cant find or remember what to do...can anybody help and I promise to save the thread this time.

I am at a loss to understand exactly what the Attributes Tool is.
I do not have VS 11 but I am sure the workstation will be similar to other versions.

There is an Attributes Tab within the panel below the library which is usually available after selecting a clip from the timeline.

Can you give more details?

It's the Effects Attributes including Zoom, monochrome, ripple etc. there's a box I need to uncheck to make it return back to my panel ! I did it once before when it occurred but now ihave forgotten what I need to again.

To the top of the library are several icons, the right hand icon looks like a double arrow.

This will hide / show the panel below the library window.

Thanks, but this is not what I meant. The program crashed and after a reboot, the entire option of Attributes has disappeared. A previous post on a forum I read, said to go to C/Program Files/ulead and adjust something there. It worked perfectly, but now I can't remember or find what to do. It's worth noting that Attributes is no longer listed as an option in the library. It's some bug in the program that causes it.

I have searched your posts but cannot find any reference to any other posts.
So if you have posted this query in the past what user name did you use?


The only workround/quick fix I know of is to re-name the folder “11.0” to “11.0 copy”

Then when you start Video Studio 11 a new folder will be created, this should set the library to its installed state.
The folder is located here:-

C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\11.0

No I never posted before, just found the solution on another post. In fact, I found it again in the end. I should have called it Video Filters missing not Attributes tool and I apologise for getting that wrong! It was very simple just delete uvs/ini file in the same Applications Data folder, did the trick perfecto!! Thank you for your help...
