I'm a long time user of Videostudio Pro X4 and I make a lot of videos for youtube... I wanted some advice on creating titles (text on screen) to speed up the production of my vids.
My biggest problem is that when I put titles on screen, it's often a few sentences that I've copied and pasted, so I lose a lot of time formatting the text to fit in the screen.
For example... I make bible related videos, so I tend to paste a lot of bible verses into the video. I end up losing a lot of time formatting the text to fit within the screen. Is there any way to automatically "word wrap" to fit in a certain box size or perhaps another software that would meet my needs?
I really want to crank up production speed, but I lose so much time just trying to fit my text into the viewable area.
I'm aware of the title software that comes with VS pro Ultimate, but will that meet my needs?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!!! Feel free to send me a link to another thread if this issue has already been addressed.
Faster title (text) creation?

p.s. I saw New Blue's Titler Pro software.... but it's ONLY $300. Any other similar software that's more economically friendly?

Re: Faster title (text) creation?
I have an idea that may work for you. Use Word to format each title on the screen, and then take a HiRes photo to insert into your videos. Since word has all kinds of formatting, this may work for you... Al

Re: Faster title (text) creation?
Interesting idea.... wonder if I could mask it properly to make the text overlay the video without blocking the vid...

Hi
You could try using an image editor to create a PNG with transparent background.
The text should overlay the video, you would still have to justify the text in the image editor
Not sure what the quality would be like try a large frame size 2024 x 1152 would do nicely for widescreen.
Place the png in the overlay track.
--------------------------------
Otherwise using Word or Note Pad, clear the formatting, set the line lengths by using carriage return.
When you Copy and Paste the words per line should be the same.
Justify the text in Video Studio.
