UI Layout - no custom modes available in trial version. Is that because it's the trial version or do I have an error?

Although trial versions may be limited in the templates and library content the actual program should be fully functional.

Besides the X4 version did not allow you to customise the UI Layout, at least my version does not.
You can however detach the modules allowing you to manually arrange your layout.

Drag the dots to the top left of the panels

After you have moved the modules around you can save them as a custom template - but like Trevor my X4 did not come with preset custom UI's
