problems open paid PSPX

Hi
I have a paid with serial number corel paint shop pro X and found a patch
I installed the patch and now i can´t open paintshop It says thank you for purchasing and tell me to activate to unlock
But before I installed the patch I had no problems since I already have the serial number
But when the activation window opens it says that the serial number I am using has alrady been submitted the maximum numbers of times for activation
How can I open my PSPX again
