How to stop merged image warning in PSPX4?

Post by Carolrob »

Where do I tell PSPx4 not to give me this warning?

"Because of the limitations of the specified file format, the saved file will be limited to a merged image.
Would you like to continue?"

I have been through the Preferences / Warnings & Auto Actions and can see no place to set it.
I resolved it in PSPX2 but I can't remember how I did it.
I have compared the 2 version's setttings & can't see any difference.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Carol

I'm pretty sure that it's the warning about "File format limitations".
Using Paint Shop Pro versions 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 14, 16

Carol, go to File / Preferences / General Program Preferences. Select Warnings. Uncheck File format limitations.
