VSP X4 Output - Handbrake No Title(s) Found
I've mastered a few videos, stringing mv4 (mp4) clips together. Handbrake barfs on inputting the video indicating "No Title(s) Found". Also, VLC doesn't report a time length or remaining. I'm trying a number of encoding outputs (HDV, mp4), but was wondering if there's something amiss with the way I constructed my video (I tried adding chapters to no avail). Thx.

well it looks like a number of people have read your post - but no-one wants to answer - I wonder if that is because like me they are confused by your words and the lack of information.
What does the phrase "handbrake barfs" mean , it is not a phrase I have met before and certainly not in connection with VideoStudio. then you mention an error message - what exactly does the error message say and when does it appear - is it a VideoStudio error message or windows or what ? . what exactly are you doing when the error message appears. What do you mean by VLC ?
Where did the video files come from originally ? - how did they get on your computer ? - how are you "inputting" them to VideoStudio - by capture or import media ? - what are the properties of the video files - frame rate , compression type etc - if you do not know these and cannot get your files into VideoStudio to check then tell us exactly what device (camera) created them and we may be able to deduce from that.
Chapters are best added in the burning module - where and how are you trying to do yours so that it does not work for you.
I am sure you know exactly what you meant, but the rest of us cannot see your computer screen so I'm afraid we need to know in some detail what you were doing with what and when any error message appears.

Re: VSP X4 Output - Handbrake No Title(s) Found
I certainly agree that not nearly enough info has been provided. But Brian, just a couple of minor explanations. "Barf" is a rather colourful term denoting an equally colourful process called vomiting!!
It is a common term in Australia, at least, though I am not sure where else it might be used. VLC is an excellent freeware media player, but one which also gives lots of useful info about the media it is playing.
My only experience with .mv4 video was that produced by Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 when I was attempting to output AVCHD. Adobe uses the .mv4 extension for the AVCHD video it produces, and it is video only. A separate audio file is produced. I gave up on Premiere for AVCHD since the only programs I could find which could accept .mv4 were Adobe ones. That was a couple of years ago, and maybe the situation has changed. But I am still not aware of any other programs that will accept that format. Certainly VS would not at the time I was producing them.

Thank you Ken - Barfs is a term also used here in the UK for vomiting - but I am still confused as to what "handbrake barfs" means

I also didn't recognise 'handbrake' but simply assumed it was another piece of sofware of which I was unaware...
EDIT: ... and it is! See http://handbrake.fr/
