Re: Recording Audio
Yes - under the preview screen is an icon that looks like a Cine reel with a red dot next to it - click on that and in the options panel that opens choose "Voice over" then follow the prompt - the audio will appear in the timeline starting from the cursor position. My laptop will record using the inbuilt microphone - or you can connect an external one via USB.

Re: Recording Audio
You use the Windows sound mixer (not integral with VideoStudio) usually accessed by clicking on the loudspeaker icon in your system tray - you will find that VideoStudio has added an extra slider to the windows mixer panel.

Re: Recording Audio
Thanks Again Brian. I have discovered that, on my vista that doesn't work, it only allows me to adjust the output volume, so I worked out that if I went into Control Panel clicked on the Sound icon, Then the Recording tab at the top, then right clicked the Microphone tab, chose Properties, from there clicked levels, the recording level can be adjusted to taste!. For anyone with the same problem, this may be of help
