Zombie Virus

Post by ForFun »

Hello all! I just finished purchasing VideoStudio Pro X4 and downloading it. My zone Alarm anti-virus software did a hysteresis scan and dedected a malicious behaviour a "Zombie" virus. Can anybody tell me what's going on? Is this normal?

Thanks!

If you bought it from the Corel shop or a trustworthy seller, then no it is not normal at all.

Well, I don't know what happened. I downloaded it again and it scanned OK? In the meantime, I installed the trial version I had downloaded a week ago but not yet installed. I had a scarey moment when it wouldn't accept my activation code. I restarted the program and it accepted it the second time. I installed all the extas they give you and all seems fine.

With all this news recently of counterfit web sites posing as legit ones, it freaks one out!

Great price on VSP right now, by the way - $39. When these Corel people have sales on, they don't mess around. I have PSP X4 and love it, thought I would get the VSP too, since it is so afordable right now.

Cheers! :D
