Hello,
The title says it all : I'd like to get rid of NN, but I couldn't find it into the usual plugin folders.
Any idea ?

Re: How to get rid of Noise Ninja ?
It is not a plugin.
You could remove the UI via the customTool.ui file.
cheers

Hello afx,
Thank you for your fast reply.
I thought CustomTool was only useful for sorting plugins.
Maybe I missed something. I'm going to read the topics again.
Thanks again,
J.-Luc

Re: How to get rid of Noise Ninja ?
Nope, you can completely change the tabs, tool order, and show or hide any of the tools. This is for both plugins and the built-in tools.

Unless ASP is different to Bibble (haven't played with ASP yet), you can't hide the plugins completely. Any you don't specify will appear in the Plugins 1, plugins 2... tabs as before.claudermilk wrote:Nope, you can completely change the tabs, tool order, and show or hide any of the tools. Yes, that is true for plugins--but if you don't want to see a plugin, you just uninstall it. For built-in tools, if you omit them, they will not be displayed.

Well, maybe a picture will help better than words. See attachment.
What I want is, if not remove from menu, deactivate the noise ninja entry from the standard or whatelseother tab.
Maybe deleting dlls would allow this ? If so, where are those dlls ?

J.-Luc

You could hack the UI file for the basic tool if you feel like it.
But of course, you will need to make sure that your hack is applied again after each program update.
Why bother for one line?

Re: How to get rid of Noise Ninja ?
Hello Afx,
Yes, that worked. Thanks for the tip.
Of course, as you write it, I'll have to do this for each new release.
But I don't think that will happen so often...
Thanks again,
