Slide show burned to DVD

Post by k20duser »

Hi, can X4 make slide shows and burn them to DVD. I have been using windows live movie maker, then burning with windows dvd burner (win 7). I keep getting way too soft photos after burning with windows dvd. Edited pictures look great in movie maker, but degrade once burned with win dvd.

YOu will use Videostudio to do this job.
Using paint shop pro to prepare your pictures, ensuring they are of the right aspect ratio etc.

You may look at your settings in Windows Live Movie Maker and make certain they are the proper output to match the device you intend it for or larger.
Also when you say win dvd do you mean the default burning software in the operating system itself or the program by Corel WinDVD? http://www.corel.com/corel/product/inde ... ageCode=en

Like what skier-hughes said you need both PaintShop Pro X4 and Videostudio Pro X4. Before you purchase both program, I encourage you to download and use the trial. Just go to http://pnoy.me/coreltrials to download the trials.

Hi, thanks for the replies. I was referring to window dvd maker (win 7). All my output settings in windows live movie maker are set to the highest quality. When I burn the show with Windows dvd burner the show seems to get scaled down... anyway, already have x4, will download the trial of the corel video software and see if it helps.
Thanks again.

Depends what your original files are... If they are HD files, a dvd will only be SD, so it will get scaled down from maybe 1920x1080 to 720x480 (576 PAL)
