Hi,
When managing images, I am found some difficulties on handling tags.
The main problem is that PSP is creating tags automatically to all images I have. It is especially undesirable because a plenty of images come from internet, fotolia etc and have tags I don't want. So, my "desirable" tags are mixing with the "undesirable".
a) I tried to find out in PSP "preferences" any option to stop tagging automatically. And I couldn't find it. Does any one know any way of handling it?
b) Other problem is to delete the tags I don't want. If I delete the tag in tags tree (manage/collection) it appears again. The only way I found is deleting tag by tag, image by image, what is madness of doing to a plenty of images. Does anyone know any way of deleting the "main" tag in order to delete automatically the related tag in each image?

I also had a problem with b). What you need to do is use the tag in the tag tree to display all images with the selected tag.
Use Ctrl-A to select all images. Now delete the tag from the set of tags in the tag list on the right. Now there should be no images using this tag, so when you remove it from the tag tree it should not re-appear.

I could delete tags easier using Ctrl-A to select all images. So, finally all undesirable tahs were removed!!!
But it worked partially; what got wrong is nonsense. After I have deleted all tags attached to images I deleted the tags in tag tree (collections). All the tags are appearing again (even with none tagging images related with). I tried to delete a plenty of times and the tags still appearing in the tree.
=> Any tip about what to do?
As a provisory solution I am creating the tags with "underline"=> _people. Thus the tags will appear in the top of the tree always. But not be able to delete them it is annoying!

I reset the program to its factory setting pressing on Shift plus F8 key and launching PSP. A message showed that I restored the program to factory default.

No way! Does anyone know the file in which PSP stores the tags information? Maybe deleting the tags there the "evil will be erased in the root" !
