PSE Organizer keywords/star ratings into ASP

I have something good to report. I spent lots of time previously importing into Photoshop Elements Organizer 9 almost 50k out-of-camera unmodified digital photos going back 11 years (mostly raw, but older ones were jpeg). I had added lots of keywords to the photos and given many of them star ratings. Although ASP 1.0.0.39 is buggy and I am not using it now I expect Corel will fix many of the bugs in an update before too much longer -- no evidence that they will, but it is my hope. Of course, I don't want to import those 50k photos into ASP and have to redo all the keywords and star ratings. It is a huge chore and takes lots and lots of time. The truth is I probably wouldn't do it again. So, this afternoon I decided to test what would happen if I told Organizer to save the data for each photo as an XMP sidecar file and then import the photos into ASP. Of course, I did this with a small test catalog, not my full catalog. ASP automatically read the XMP files that Organizer created and assigned the keywords and star ratings to the photos. Great! Okay, Corel, please get a bug fix release out ASAP!
